The most appealing benefit of trenchless pipe lining is the opportunity to avoid traditional repair methods that tend to be much more disruptive, time-consuming, and costly. Relining methods also tend to be compatible with all types of pipe systems, such as mains, sanitary/waste systems, industrial/commercial systems, and residential and municipal systems
Here is an overview of the non-invasive solutions that our team specializes in:
For Drain and Sewer Pipes: CIPP Lining Technology
CIPP lining, or cured-in-place pipe lining, is an innovation that can minimize your repiping costs without requiring an entirely new drainage pipe to be replaced or installed. This type of trenchless pipe lining is most often used for repairing and servicing sewer line drain pipes that remove and lead both waste and wastewater away from a property to the public sewer system.
CIPP Lining Technology Benefits
Cured-in-Place Pipe Lining is a safe and proven method of trenchless pipe repair when dealing with leaking or corroded pipes. Its benefits include:
- Much faster process
- Doesn’t require tearing open walls
- Doesn’t require disruptive digging
- Less expensive than pipe replacement.
CIPP Lining Process
Here’s how the SPT team rehabilitates your pipes - from the inside!
Blocked or root-intruded pipes are cleaned with tools and processes appropriate to the situation.
An epoxy-saturated liner is pulled into place through existing access points, and an internal rubber bladder is inflated, pressing the epoxy against the pipe wall.
The epoxy cures in a few short hours, then the bladder is deflated and removed, leaving behind a clean, seamless “pipe within a pipe.”
Our team will use a video camera inspection to inspect the pipe thoroughly for any possible issue. We will then use the appropriate cleaning method such as hydro-jetting or the use of a mechanical cleaning tool to remove debris and obstructions. CIPP lining is a viable pipe rehabilitation solution for any cast iron drain pipe or waste sewer line.
CIPP Lining Applications

Pull-in-place pipe repair is a method of trenchless pipe rehabilitation offered by SPT to repair damaged sewer pipes, vent stacks. With this technology, we can efficiently repair your pipes without damaging your floors, walls, or yard.
For Water Pipes: Epoxy Barrier Coatings
If the property you purchased has outdated water lines, your pipes could be at risk of being corroded, leading to leaks and bursts. Epoxy barrier coatings will help keep your home safe while reducing costs at the same time.
The blown-in epoxy will form a new barrier coating inside of your pipes. This is hardened using hot air that is blown into the pipe system with compressed air. As SPT will determine the amount of epoxy that is needed to do the job, you can expect effective results, which are clean pipes that you can trust to bring safe drinking water to your family.
Blown-in Epoxy Process
First, we will identify the corrosion or a pinhole leak that is causing low water pressure or water damage in the walls, floors, or ceilings. The pipes are dried with heated, compressed air to remove all moisture. This process also removes rust and corrosion build-up. We will then reheat the cleaned pipe to make sure that the epoxy coating will adhere to the internal pipe surface. We will then conduct a final leak test and inspection to monitor the water quality, volume, and flow.
