Trenchless Sewer Repair
In the earlier years, conventional solutions were widely used and no one seemed to care about the damages these solutions cause because of lack of other options. With the massive damages come higher costs for repairs, not only of the sewers but of the property.
Trenchless sewer repair is a no-dig process of drain pipe replacement and repair. It has been proven to be the best and most permanent solution to replace broken pipes. This process is used for properties that have landscaping and gardens, furnished basements, and structured areas because there will be no more tearing down of landscapes just to fix one single leak in the sewers.
One of the trenchless sewer repair methods we use at SPT Pipe is called the CIPP. It is the insertion of a lining composed of two parts – first part is 100% solids and the second part is epoxy resin mixed together to form a felt liner.
Drain Camera Inspection
With the use of a CCTV camera, our specialists are able to see the location of the liner and can measure and tailor the liner to fit the pipes. Through the camera lens, our specialists can also locate the position of the liner and verify that the bladders are inflated and in place. They can then leave the liners to cure in place, as the name implies.
Once the CIPP liners are cured, the bladder is then deflated and a final inspection is done to check it the liners are properly placed. CIPP installation is one of the most efficient and cost-saving way to prevent corrosion, cracks, sewer back-ups, tree roots, and other pipe problems.
SPT can install CIPP lining in a variety of diameters from 2 inches to 30 inches, depending on the customer’s property needs. The best thing about our CIPP service is that we do not use volatile organic compounds.
